Howard Center has a long and rich history as a trusted provider in Vermont. With a legacy spanning 160 years, Howard Center has been providing progressive and compassionate, high-quality services for members of our community in need. Founded in 1865 as an agency serving destitute children, they now offer mental health, substance use, and developmental disability services across the lifespan. Their staff of 1,300 provides help and support in over 60 locations throughout Vermont. More than 19,000 community members turn to them each year for support to lead healthier and more fulfilling lives. Help is available.
