Michelle Caver

Michelle Caver, First Sergeant (ret.) served in the U.S. Army for 22 years in both the active and reserve components in combat service support roles. Her commitment to Army Values, Professional Development and Soldier Care led to several promotions with increased levels of responsibility. As a senior noncommissioned officer, she deployed with the 42nd Infantry Division as part of Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF III), selected to serve as an Assistant Inspector General and led the force as a First Sergeant in the 369th Sustainment Brigade (Harlem Hellfighters). Michelle most values her connections to her teammates and the greater good accomplished through teamwork. In an effort to continue a life that has some positive impact in her community, Michelle joined the Veterans of Foreign Wars. She leverages her diverse military experience as a Human Resources Professional to support the VFW mission that continues to evolve to address the unmet needs of past, present and future combat veterans. Currently, Michelle proudly serves as the Post Commander in the first VFW Post in Vermont – VFW Post 782 in Burlington, Vermont.
