Social Tinkering

Social Tinkering is a nonprofit, 501c3 organization, based in Rutland Vermont. Their mission is to intentionally grow meaningful social connection to reduce isolation and loneliness and their impacts so that individuals, families, and communities can thrive. Social Tinkering coordinates with people and organizations regionally and statewide to identify and reduce any barriers that may be preventing people from being able to connect with others. They offer welcoming and inclusive social meetups, presentations, workshops, discussion groups, and advocacy training and coordination. Their collaborative programs include the Rutland Belonging Collective and the Vermont Thriving Communities Coalition.
